Burasari is one of the only resorts I’ve genuinely left feeling completely recharged, from the nutritious plant based vegan choice at their buffet breakfast and freshly made coffee to the energising pool (my lapis lazuli crystal thanks you) to the bed fit for a Feebs, I couldn’t think of anything to have made my stay better.
As a solo traveller, being able to connect with people is something I don’t take for granted and everyone I met shared the same enthusiasm. The guests I found said that they return here again and again as it’s a truly unique place. I loved how the staff are in positions where they are doing what they are passionate about and also incredibly skilled at.
I ate at La Citadelle their in house French style restaurant which is soon to include a vegan menu (possibly the first of its kind in Patong so watch this space) where Chef Thomas makes gorgeous food to order and drank numerous cocktails at Ladies Night with live music from the incredible Ricky Zen. Thanks for getting me up dancing, maybe one less frozen daiquiri next time! Lol.
The room was really spacious, I felt like I had my own apartment and I loved the small details they paid attention to which is why I fell in love with this place. The fruit platter left in my room, the wall mounted TV where I fell asleep watching MMA fights until the early hours and I especially loved the hotel toiletries. Instead of the norm of guest soap and shampoo, there was a mini loofah, cotton buds and coconut shower gels and lotions from their spa.
Waking up to the sun shining through the blinds from the balcony overlooking a gorgeous pool with waterfall feature is something I never get tired of and I was so grateful to be able to wake up naturally and of course go down to the breakfast buffet!
Make sure you don’t leave Phuket & Burasari out of your travel itinerary when visiting Thailand. It’s a true gem.
